26 January 2009 : Yes, yes.

I know this is pretty lame, but I'd like to offer this up as an example of why I am not really posting much lately. Remember how I used to post multiple times every day when I lived in Lexington, and I was lonely and miserable and sick, and that all fed my need to create, and I got really funny and prolific?

Well, today, I went to school and aced a test, then came home and took a nap on the couch, and now Pal and I are sitting at the dining room table studying for an anatomy test.

Let me rephrase that. It's 11:53 pm, Pal and I are quizzing one another over the medical terms for body parts. I am drinking a sweet, milky cup of Earl Grey, and enjoying a chipotle-spiced chicken sausage with spicy mustard on toast.

So far, my favorite words are: inguinal (groin), buccal (cheek), and popliteal (the area at the back of the knee). And though I generally remember all the organs in the endocrine system, the digestive system gives me a great deal of pause. And the potential space between the visceral pericardium and the parietal pericardium? Don't even get me started on memorizing the names of potential space. We're all stocked up on that here.

Story of my life.

By which I mean, I'm kind of happy, and kind of satisfied, and that's why I don't feel the need to update here. Ever. I'm sorry. I'll try to be better. It's not you, it's me. Maybe later.

Can we still be friends?

I still love you. :)

I'm taking a hiatus from Facebook, by the way, so don't worry about that for now. I must find a job. FB was distracting.
